SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION We are proposing a partnership that could be rewarding for both of our organizations. We compete in the Grand Stock division at Old Dominion Speedway (ODS) in Manassas, VA. Racing can be an expensive sport and for this reason sponsors are very important. We know our team can offer a great deal to a sponsor and I would like to share with you some of the advantages of becoming a part of the Miller Racing Team. Every Saturday night from April through October ODS draws fans from all over the DC area to watch NASCAR sanctioned stock car races. Additionally, local and regional cable companies broadcast selected races to the entire Washington, DC metro area. Newspapers, including the Washington Post, Journal Messenger, and Potomac News report on the events at the speedway as well. What this means for your company is an increase in exposure to a vast audience. ODS is a 3/8 mile, semi-banked, paved oval and has a large grandstand area which gives a spectacular view of the race. In addition, after the races are over for the night, fans are allowed in the pit area to meet the drivers, get handouts, coupons, or cards from the sponsors, and view the cars. Watching the #9 Ford race around the track with your company’s name prominently displayed, will only enhance your opportunities for even greater exposure. Miller Racing will also include our sponsors on our website. We would link to our sponsor’s site and give recommendations and/or information about your company. SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES The Miller Racing team wants to work with potential sponsors to decide what package is right for them. We can offer deals ranging from full car sponsorship including a custom paint scheme to match your company’s colors to a small decal placed on the car. Sponsorship Packages Hood- $10,000 Door options- $7,500-$10,000 Rear Quarter Panel Option- $15,000-$20,000 Front Quarter Panel Options- $5,000-$7,500 Rear Bumper- $1500-$3,000 With 22 races scheduled for the 2003 season, a sponsorship of $1500 breaks down to only $68.18 per race. That is a great deal of publicity each week for such a low price. This is also a great tax advantage for your business as you can use this as a marketing tax write off. Overall Through an increase in publicity and subsequent word of mouth exposure, your company stands to gain more business with a partnership with Miller Racing. Mark is an established winner and is a favorite among the fans. Also, we will be displaying our car at the Manassas Mall Car Show in March, providing information and coupons for our sponsors.
